‘Emo The Musical’ To Screen At MIFF 2016

Screen Australia, Film Victoria and the MIFF Premiere Fund have collaborated together to present this feature film version of a very emotional musical.

This satirical high school musical revolves around the battle between a group of Christian musicians and a group of emos, which adds tension to the blooming love between emo boy Ethan and Christian girl Trinity. Both teenagers have to deal with the circumstances of their differing social stances in high school, as the competition between their two groups exacerbates.

Emo The Musical will screen at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Friday August 12, followed by another screening at the Comedy Theatre on Saturday August 13 and a closed captioned screening at the Kino in Collins Street on Sunday August 14. Head to MIFF for tickets.
